Monsters from the Id is a two-week exhibition that delves into the human condition and examines issues of mortality, religion, the sub-conscious, spirituality, frailty and loss.
Monsters from the Id exhibition offers an interactive experience featuring paintings, drawings, poetry, CD’s, DVD’s, artists books, ex-exhibition posters and an exhibition catalogue which can be purchased as a memento of the show. Signed copies of Mark’s first published portfolio by the International Confederation of Art Critics ‘Let’s Unfinish What We’re Seeing’ will be available. This book contains many images of Mark’s paintings alongside pages from his sketchbooks - tracing his journey as an artist.

It’s not always about the money. For me, the greatest reward as an artist, is that somebody would wish to hang one of my artworks in their home on their wall and enjoy my images. There is no better feeling than that. In that respect, every artwork, every book, every drawing in the show will be negotiable in price, within reason. I want to break down the barrier that only the wealthy can invest in Contemporary Art - in British Art. Why shouldn’t the everyday person in the street be able to hang ‘real art’ on the wall? And, maybe in time secure an investment, rather than settle for mass produced printed canvases from B&Q, Homebase or The Range. I hope you can come along and enjoy the show.
